A recharge restores refrigerant to factory spec, but only after we confirm the system isn't leaking. If it is, a recharge alone fails within weeks — so we always diagnose first and quote leak repair separately before touching the refrigerant.
The four common causes: low refrigerant from a leak, failed compressor or clutch, stuck blend-door actuator routing heat into the cabin, or an electrical fault. Each looks identical from the driver's seat, so we diagnose before swapping parts.
It's not just uncomfortable — a broken heater usually means you can't defog or defrost either, which is a visibility and safety issue. Get it diagnosed before the next cold snap, not after.
Diagnosis is same-day. Recharges and cabin-filter jobs are same-day. Compressor, condenser, or heater-core replacements typically take one to two business days depending on parts availability.
